bedok jetty, last friday

some bridge near cafe iguana, tonite

here's what happened today...
after work, i had alreadi arranged to meet claudia for dinner and drinks... then my sister called while i was sitting blissfully by the singapore river... reading toby litt... she was crying and said her bag was stolen... along with 500bucks in cash, her wallet, her handphone... so i went over with claudia... passed her some cash and my transitlink card... told her to go to the police station with her friend... and the whole time i was staring at every single bag in suntec city... these fuckers were professionals... they took the bag and went to ck tangs within the hour and withdrew all the money from her bank account...

best thing: THE FUCKED UP POLICE INSPECTOR TOLD MY SISTER THAT EVEN IF THEY GET FOOTAGE FROM THE CAMERAS, UNLESS ITS SOMEONE THEY KNOW OR WE KNOW... THERE'S PROBABLY NO WAY TO FIND HIM!

2nd best thing: THE FUCKED UP CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER FROM DBS TOLD MY SISTER ON THE PHONE WHEN SHE REPORTED LOSS THAT "NEXT TIME DON'T USE YOUR I/C NUMBER!"

FUCKED UP SYSTEMS
FUCKED UP!

anyway...

rainbow connection

i was on my way home and listening to the radio when they played this version of rainbow connection by peter cincotti... and its just so beautiful... if you love it... ask me for the higher quality mp3 version... its worth breaking the law for... haha

Why are there so many songs about rainbows,
And what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
And rainbows have nothing to hide.

So we've been told and some choose to believe it,
I know they're wrong, wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers and me.

Who said that every wish would be heard and answered,
When wished on the morning star?
Somebody thought of that, and someone believed it,
And look what it's done so far.

What's so amazing that keeps us stargazing
And what do we think we might see?
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers, and me.

All of us under its spell,
We know that it's probably magic.

Have you been half asleep? And have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name.
Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors?
The voice might be one and the same.

I've heard it too many times to ignore it,
It's something that I'm s'posed to be
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers, and me.

finally... this semester is on what i'd like to label as "cold storage"... why? coz today's exam was a "betrayal"... wat we were told to study, or at least i think we were told to study... didn't come out! got some other weird stuff... so i'm hoping my extra credit stuff can pull me through... i don't want to take the supp papers... its too hallowing an experience... the thought of repeating the subject is even worse... but for now... its on "cold storage"...

gd news... i won class 95 cartune's contest... got 2 tickets to watch "taking lives" along with the poster... the contest was to name which singer you would like to be and why... so my entry was "i'd like to be nick lachay so i can slap some sense into that bimbo jessica simpson"... i wonder if i was ranked top entry.. hahah..

anyway... hence starts the 2 month holiday... gotta find work... shall continue wif my kose stuff... might be helping out at orangedot productions... see how la... need to save up money... in case of emergencies... cash flow is really healthy these days... wat goes in... will come out...

Exclusive Interview with Willy Hung Senior

The Father. The Mentor. The Manager.
We caught up with the man behind the global phenomena that is William Hung. In an exclusive interview, we spoke to Mr Willy Hung Senior, who William accredits his success to.

Hello Mr Hung. Thank you for taking time out to speak to us.
No worries, man. I'm cool.

Yes. Now your son is a worldwide idol, what's your take on this totally unexpected situation?
I am proud of my boy. Everyone in the Hung Clan thought he'd never make it. They all said he'll only be good enough to make lap cheong(dried chinese sausages) or sell siew yoke fan(roasted pork with rice). He sure showed them who's the best!

I see. Has William's success changed your lives?
Yes it did. I now get 2 shots of expresso at the Starbucks around the corner. And I have to fend off the groupies that camp by the sidewalk. Its still alright. Coffee?

I'll pass. William calls you his mentor. What's the greatest lesson you've taught young William?
"Do your best in whatever you do. Have no regrets." Actually I think I was drunk that night. I meant to say "Do her breast." We got him a hooker for his 16th birthday, or else he'll never lose his virginity.

Alright. Too much information. So what's next for William?
He'll be performing at next year's Superbowl half time show. He'll be flashing Britney Spear's breast. This time, it'll be the right side.

Fantastic. Any last comments before we end?
Yes. Simon, glad you liked my steamed lap cheong. I'll bring more over the next time we play mahjong. To those who want to make it big, do your best and have no regrets! Peace out!

Next week... Clay and Reuben... Friend? Foes? LOVERS???

Breaking News!

BREAKING NEWS!
FIRST INTELLECTUAL BOVINE SIGHTED IN TEMASEK POLYTECHNIC LIBRARY!

Reported by Lennel Tan

(Tampines, Singapore) In an unprecedented sighting this afternoon, a COW was sighted reading the local newspaper in Temasek Polytechnic.

Witnesses claim that the bovine walked into the 3rd floor reading area on its hind legs, and headed straight for the news section. It picked up a copy of today's Straits Times and sat down at one of the tables.

Miss Jolene Siow, a 1st year student in the polytechnic who was at the scene said, "It was sooooo weird. I was doing my photo essay project when suddenly I saw a cow walk in and sit right across where I was. I took my ah gong's camera phone and took the picture from behind the book shelf so that I won't scare the animal away."

Religious leaders believe that today's sighting was in fact a manifestation of Kamadhenu, the mythical and miraculous "wish-cow" in the Hinduism scriptures. Dr Weryvoring, a scholar from Bangladesh, said, "It was a manisfestation of Kamadhenu, the cow giwes ewerything that anyvone vishes, and became the symbolic representation of all other creatures." A few years back, it was believed that the hindu Elephant God started to receive offerings, physically. Statues of the Elephant God, Ganesha, actually "drank" milk offered by devotees.

However, scientists believe that the walking and reading cow was in fact a freak of nature. Dr Dolittle, an specialist in the field of genetic development believes that, "due to exposure to Bhangra and Hip Hop music, the genetic make up of the average bovine was altered. This caused an irreversible damage to the part of the brain which governs common sense and mental development." What was once a docile domestic animal with an under developed mind is now a fashion disaster with a penchant for reading.

Whatever the circumstances, whether it was a holy sighting, or a result of man tampering with nature, it is believed that the cow will be back. Members of the public speculate that the cow will be heading to the nearest watering hole along Serangoon Rd, affectionately known as Little India by the locals. Perhaps to do some schmoooooooozing.

love is like a malaysian car

malaysian cars = cheap to get... dun last long.. and its so dangerous and frustrates far more than it serves its purpose

i'm pregnant...

actualli its jsut the morning sickness that i'm getting a whole lot of these days... its back alright... vomitting and vomitting... caused by the stress and nervous attacks when there's a deadline... the worst will come on monday... when my class will have to present our percomm biz plans to the whole cohort... and i've volunteered to start with the intro for my group... had this gimmick idea pop up at 1am a few weeks ago... and i'm going to try it out.. hopefully i'll get an A for it.. or fall flat and die die die...just hope that i dun get too nauseas to perform...

i have been doin work every night for the past 2 weeks... its starting to suffocate me... i felt so stressed out just now on the bus i nearly started to cry... but u know the drill.. i cant cry and all.. haha... so tonight i'll have to relax a little... and stuff my face with 3 bowls of tiramisu that have started to change in taste... eeeks...

*side story*
kenji ordered me 12 cups of tiramisu from tiramisutra... and they are fantastic... then the next day i received an sms from him (he left for taiwan for ns)... saying he got them for me to cheer me up... so sweet of him right?

school is going to end soon... 20th april... its happening so fast... next week i'll have to finish up my psychology shit... i dun fucking care if i get debarred from the subject coz its a bloody good subject ruined by bloody boring lecturer like Dr Tay... he's a fucking frigid too...

while putting the laundry out to dry a few minutes ago... it juz crossed my mind that no one's ever fallen in love with me the way i want them to... rephrased would be.... i'm always the one falling for someone first... sucks doesnt it?
